Priscilla Garvin nee Haines, age 87 of Mt. Prospect. Priscilla was born in Oak Park, IL and raised in Minneapolis, MN where she met Paul, her devoted husband of 60 years.
She was everyone’s favorite librarian at the Mt. Prospect Public Library for over 25 years. After retirement, Paul and Priscilla travelled the world extensively. She enjoyed celebrating life with her large family and group of friends. She will be missed dearly.

Garvin, Jr.; loving mother of Peter (Patricia) Garvin, Thomas (Laura) Garvin, Paul III (Teresa) Garvin, Peggy (Kevin) Campbell, Priscilla (Todd) Grimm and Polly (Timothy) Gillogly; cherished grandmother of Jourdan, Meghan (Mike), Martha (Matthew), Ellen (Jeremy), Evelyn, Miles, Austin, Priscilla, Charlotte, Isabelle, Timothy, Bonnie, Paige and Peter; great grandmother of Jadyn, Logan, Edith, Emma, Eleanore, Alan and Alice.
Visitation Monday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 a.m. from Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd.,(at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 to St. Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056, Mass 10:00 a.m.
Interment All Saints Cemetery.
